The show bench
Everyone who sponsored a bee.
Laid out the way a honey show lays out its classes, by entry number. Everyone here asked to be named. Sponsor a bee and, if you would like, you join them.
Queens
One per colony, and everything depends on her.
Workers
Female, sterile, and doing every job in the hive by rota.
Entry no. W7187
Lulu D’Urso
in memory of Chrissy Plummer
sponsors Chrissy, a worker in Hive Two
Forager
The last three weeks of a worker's life, spent outside.
Entry no. W3153
Paul Hallett
in memory of Lee Rawlinson
sponsors Fuzz-butt, a forager in Hive Two
Not everybody who sponsors a bee appears here. The bench is opt in, so plenty of sponsors are keeping it to themselves.
